"Appauling service and rediculous opening hours"

A review of Royal Mail by Sam written on Thursday 6th of October 2016

Parcel delivered at 10 in the morning on Wednesday, so I rang the office to see if I could collect my parcel later that night, rang 5 times and no answer. so I went in at 6pm to see if I could pick it up while I was up that way. Was told no there is a strict 24hr policy and I can't have it until tomorrow. So i ask if it would be ready any time and was told after 10am would be best, so i pop in on the way home from work at half 2, CLOSED. opening hours are 7am-2pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday is the only weekday they are open past 2pm and weekends aren't much better. So now i have to wait till next Wednesday for a parcel delivered on Wednesday because like most people I work. Useless service, no option to leave with a neighbor or anything, no call or text to say when your parcel is on its way or a delivery time etc..
