"A trial purchase"

My partner and I visited Wardle butchers last Saturday 6/4/24 and were so disappointed with items bought. Two lamb pasties, steak pie, chicken pie, two Scotch eggs, piece of pork pie, black pudding, two sausages, two slices of bacon, all very bland. The only purchase we enjoyed was the short beef ribs. I don't think the butcher tries his own products. The reason for this negative review is that we had steak pie tonight and this was the nail in the coffin, so tasteless. I take no pleasure in writing this review, my only plus is that I didn't spend more money . Regards Alex..
